Birthday Boy!

Dear Jack,

Today you turned 7 years old...WOW! You are so amazing. You are my first born and you made me a mom and every single day you make me so happy. You are in first grade and learning more and more each day. I am amazed how fast you have learned to read and just this week you were working on fractions and geometry shapes in math and you did great! You still ask a ton of questions, love football, and love legos. You are so much fun and you have a GREAT smile. You are my joy Jack and I love you more than you will ever know.

Notes

Jack has a white board that we write to him on each night. Normally Brian or I write him a note about the day or just telling him how much we love him. The other night we found he had written to us.

Flip Flops

It has been really, really cold this winter. I ran outside one day to pick up dog poop and was followed by Grant. He must have thought it was cold enough outside for a coat but his toes were fine in flip flops. Love this guy!

Bruce

A few Saturday mornings ago the boys decided to have some cuddle time with Brucie. Bruce is a great dog. He was quite sick last week and we were worried we were going to lose him but he has rallied and seems to be on the mend. He is so patient, gentle, and easy going with the boys. They have these cuddle times a lot.

Sometimes you need a nap

Sometimes you need a little snooze and your mom does not notice and you have to fall asleep on your own.
