Sick

Jack woke up this morning at 2:30 am and had thrown up in his bed. I thought it was just a cough gone bad but when he threw up some more at 6:30 am I knew we were home for the day (darn). When I went to get Grant up the first thing he said to me was "ear hurt" while he was holding his ear. Needless to say we were paying Dr. Yu a visit by 9:45. Jack just has a flu bug and Grant has an ear infection. Jack has spent most of the day on the couch or in a bed (but no more puking) and Grant has spent the day having fun and trashing the house! Grant HATES to take medicine but today I got smart. I bought a bag of his favorite suckers and his medicine. And then I bribed him! It worked! On the way home from the store Jack told me he was proud of me because I have done a really good job taking care of him today! It is my pleasure buddy. I think everyone should be good to go back to school tomorrow!
