This evening in bed Jack told me a heart breaking story (really it is heartbreaking just for me because I am his mom). At school he really wants to read the "I Spy" book but three girls always get it first and they tell him that he can't sit with them and look at it. He told me it makes him sad and mad. We talked about things he can say to those girls and how he could talk to his teacher about this as well. I encouraged him to find another book or go sit with some of of the other kids that he is friends with and wait for them to be done with the book. I know they are just being kids and this is the first of many incidents in his little life. But what I really want to do it vomit and then march into that room and set them straight. Don't worry I won't. I just pray even harder tonight for my Jack boy and that his life is filled with kindness, love, and compassion from others. I also pray that God gives Brian and I the words of encouragement for him and the ability to teach him and show him to love others, serve others, and be a friend to all he comes in contact with.
Jack also had his first football practice the other night and had a BLAST!! Grant had a lot of fun running around the field as well yelling "HUT."
Grant is saying a ton of new words ever day. He will pretty much repeat anything you ask him to and it comes out fairly clear. Ya Grant!
Since I still do not have a camera. My old one came back from Sony and I can take about 20 pictures and then load them to the computer with a cord so I have been using that but I can't figure out how the cord to the computer thing works and Brian has not had time to help me or look at it...I could not take a picture of how adorable Grant looked in his elmo pajama pants this evening. Really is their anything cuter than a crazy little two year old in pajama pants and bare feet...LOVE IT!
