Cancer

It seems like cancer is all around me. My 15 year old cousin, two teachers at school. These are people who are healthy one day and the next get this scary diagnosis. I can't wrap my mind around any of it. I seem to pray for them at odd times of the day, when it hits me, a song on the radio triggers it, or when I have a little quiet time. I listen to my I-pod and hear the worship songs on there and so much of those are prayers for them as well. The one teacher is so amazing. She is truly a women of faith and one to be admired. Her walk with Jesus is right on! She is not flashy about it but in fact rather simple about it all. I have admired her for years because of this. You can really see Jesus in her which is exactly how it should be. I have kept a journal for years and in looking through this evening I came across something that reminded me of her...Live in such a way that those who know you but don't know God will come to know God because they know you. My prayer this evening is for all of them and the many others we all know who are struggling with anything. God is good, He is faithful, He is simple, It is not difficult, Love Him, Serve Him, Pray!
