Magic House

We took all 3 boys to the Magic House. We had not been in a few years and they have added on quite a bit in that time. It was a lot of fun. It is funny though how with our first child we would have brought a ton of stuff and this day I wore Will, stuffed a diaper in my pocket and away we went. Enjoy the pictures.

Will

Will has found the Christmas tree.

It seems like I am always the one taking the pictures. Here is proof that I exist. I do wear regular clothes and do my hair (sometimes).

Will

We have big kids. Will is going to be 5 months old next week and he is over 17lbs and wearing 9 month clothes. I have not been able to put my kids in outfits that say "first Christmas" because they are so big. However, hats fit!

Hungry

When Grant gets home from preschool he comes straight inside and eats and eats and then eats some more. He is STARVING! On this day I was making brownies and he helped himself to some batter. I don't even worry about ruining his dinner because while he is snacking I make him something more dinner like and put it in front of him and he eats that also.

Picture Overload

Saturday and some FUN!

Jack adores my parents. He tells me a lot that they are more fun than us. So today we tried to show Jack that we can be fun as well. Of course we started off having to buy him some new pants and I had to have him try those pants on in a dressing room. Jack HATES TO SHOP AND TRY ON CLOTHES! In fact while trying on the first pair of pants (I only made him try on two) he told me that I had ruined his life. I told him he was not allowed to talk anymore. Needless to say he survived and the bad part of our day was over. We went out to lunch and then let him pick what we did for the day. He decided that we should go to Powder Valley Conservation Park. We played in the kid area, drew some pictures, saw a lot of deer, hiked, threw rocks in the creek, watched a movie, crossed some creeks, and I think had a pretty good time. We took some pictures and I had Brian take some of me with my kids and since I am usually the one taking pictures you can actually see I was there today. Jack was not thrilled about the picture taking but was more than happy to take a picture in front of a Pawp tree. Overall I think we had a fun day. Of course as we drove home Jack did ask if we could please see Mamaw and Pawp next weekend.

Oh yeah...Grant did moon/flash a bathroom at the park. The kids laughed and I apologized to the mom. He was walking behind me and I did not realize that he had pulled everything down while walking to the toilets. Funny boy!

Now it is Saturday night and WIll and I are hanging out at home cleaning bathrooms, trying carrots for the first time, and blogging. Jack, Brian and Grant are watching a movie at Brian's parents house with the cousins.

Updates

Here is an update and a few pictures of what we have been up to.

1. Grant is loving his new preschool and Jack is doing great in 1st grade. We spend a decent amount of time on homework and now Grant is getting little projects to do at home also.

2. Football is over and we are taking a break until the spring on sports. In the spring Jack wants to do baseball and spring football and Grant is going to play T-Ball.

3. Will is rolling every were and seems to be more on the move at 4 months than our other two were. Is this a sign? He is already pulling his legs up under him in the crawling position. Will is sleeping though the night although sometimes (about 1 -2 times a week) he wakes up in the night hungry. He is eating rice cereal and just this evening we tried carrots. He eats both just fine and makes quite a mess.

4. At his 4 month check up he weighed 16lbs and he is wearing 6-9 months clothes.

5. Will loves to talk and smile and he is really loving bath time.
6. Will is a thumb sucker!
