Birthday Parties

Grant turned 4 on June 2nd and Will is going to turn 1 on July 2nd. We had a joint birthday party for them this weekend. We had the slide out, bbq, presents, a water fight, and some cake. It was super hot and the kids all had a blast. Will loved his cup cake and dug right in. He needed a bath when we were done. Grant had no problem opening his presents and Jack helped Will with his. For Will we got some cupcakes with a "1" on them and Grant wanted a baseball cake. Happy Birthday Grant and Will.

First Hair Cut

Will got his first hair cut last Tuesday from Aunt Lindsay. He did not cry at all unlike his brothers who cried up until a few years ago.

Slide

We got a water slide for the back yard! What fun it is! The slide itself is 10.5 feet tall and the boys are having a blast going down it. I am amazed the air Grant gets as he bounces down it and Jack has learned you go faster when you don't wear your swim shirt so he ditched that this weekend.

Swim Lessons

Jack and Grant are taking swim lessons at the Renaud Center. Grant is in level 1 and Jack is in level 3. They are really turning into little swimmers!

T Ball

Grant is playing T ball this summer. He is loving it and it is a lot of fun to go watch him.

Rascals

Jack had a baseball clinic at Rascal Stadium last week. It was super hot so we did not stay for very long. We also had tickets for the game that night and the plan was for all 5 of us to go but due to the heat I ended up just taking Jack and Grant and Brian stayed home with Will. We had a lot of fun and Grant even got a foul ball.

Sting Rays

We visited the zoo last week. I had taken the boys last summer to pet the sting rays but was so big and pregnant with Will it was impossible for me to reach them. I did not get to do it this summer either because sting rays turned out to be scary for Grant and when he panics he wants me and not Brian. Maybe next summer...

Will Swims

Will

Will started walking on Thursday, June 24th. He is our earliest walker and won't be officially 1 until next week. Way to go buddy! He thinks he is so cool and get super excited when he does it. The dogs do not like it at all! He also said "Mama" for the first time yesterday! Love that boy so much!

Art Show

Jack had his art show a few weeks back. Brian was not able to make it due to work so the boys and I went. We looked at Jack's artwork, forced him to take a picture, and then went and had snow cones.

Pool

We put the blow up pool on the patio for the boys. It is already pretty hot and we are spending a lot of time in it! For their ages right now it is perfect!

Sometimes you still need a...

NAP! I walked into the living room and found G asleep next to Jack who was playing a video game. He stayed like this for 2 hours.

Cheese

I gave Will some shredded cheese today while making dinner. Funny guy!

Faces of Will

Will is at a super fun age right now. He is 11 months and on the verge of walking. He is super active and loves his big brothers. He is eating all people food (after all he is a person!) and sleeping great. He loves his "dada" and we are still working on "mama" although I am pretty sure he loves me...just struggles with my name!

Celebrate!

I love birthdays! I love to celebrate my boys birthdays! On Grants birthday it was also so the last day of school for Jack so we started off the morning with donuts and balloons. The boys went to school and I went to work and when we got home we opened presents, went to dinner at "charlies" as Grant calls it, and came home to cake. For his birthday Grant got his own power washer and so we pulled the van out of the driveway and let him wash it. He LOVED it! He also got a skateboard, a plasma bike, and a few other little things. We are having his family birthday a little later in June because we are celebrating his and Will's 1st birthday at the same time. Here are so special pictures from his day!
